Burk Technology Supplies ARC Plus for Pressman Engineering Installation

Burk Technology announced the delivery of an ARC Plus broadcast remote control system to Pressman Engineering for installation at a public television operation in central Florida.

Littleton, MA (11/2/2007) – Burk Technology announced the delivery of an ARC Plus broadcast remote control system to Pressman Engineering for installation at a public television operation in central Florida. The system monitors and controls a remotely located TV transmitter and ancillary equipment.

Pressman Engineering used the Burk SL-1 serial LAN extender to enable IP connectivity to the transmitter site over a microwave using a serial link The application also called for simultaneous access via IP, dial-up modem and telephone, all of which are provided by the ARC Plus. Onboard macros are used to schedule automatic transmitter on/off control.
