Burk ARC Plus Wins Advancement in Radio Technology Award

The ARC Plus was selected from a field of more than 40 products in the category of Facility Support.

AUSTIN, TX (9/22/08) - Burk Technology is pleased to announce that Version 2 of the company’s ARC Plus remote monitoring and control platform is the recipient of an Advancement in Radio Technology (ART) Award. Given by Radio magazine, the award recognizes products that are available and shipping and have found practical use in radio facilities.

Products were nominated by Radio magazine readers, contributors and industry professionals. Voting took place during the month of August, and winners were announced at a reception during the NAB Radio Show in Austin, Texas. The ARC Plus was selected from a field of more than 40 products in the category of Facility Support.

The ART Award marks the third industry award for the ARC Plus family of products. The ARC Plus and the Plus-X AC-8 won Pick Hit awards in 2007 and 2008, respectively.
