Greater Media Detroit Deploys Burk ARC Plus

Burk Technology announced new ARC Plus remote control installations at Greater Media Detroit.

LITTLETON, MA (10/30/08) - Burk Technology announced new ARC Plus remote control installations at Greater Media Detroit. Under the supervision of chief engineer Michael Kernen, the installations include the Plus-X AC-8 for remote 120V outlet control and the PlusConnect HZ, which provides a direct interface to the Harris Z transmitter at WRIF.

The ARC Plus is an IP-based broadcast remote control and monitoring system. An embedded system, it requires no dedicated computer for single- and multi-site station automation operations. Modem and dial-in options provide backup connectivity.
