Burk Technology Wins 3 Awards at NAB2009

LAS VEGAS, NV (4/23/09) - Burk Technology left NAB2009 as winner of three product awards: the Radio World Cool Stuff award and the Radio magazine Pick Hit award for the new PPM™ Assurance automatic PPM recovery system, and second Radio magazine Pick Hit award for the Plus-X 300 Ethernet-based I/O module for the ARC Plus broadcast remote control.

The Burk Technology PPM Assurance system automates recovery of Arbitron® PPM encoding in the event of a failure, providing clear and prompt indication of the failure source and corrective action taken. A built-in web server and email alarm engine provide convenient access and notification. Onboard silence sensing and a direct data connection to the Arbitron encoding monitor make PPM Assurance a complete, self-contained solution.

The Plus-X 300 Ethernet-based I/O module for the Burk ARC Plus broadcast remote control makes it easier than ever to monitor and control equipment in all areas of the facility using simple, Ethernet-based connectivity. The Plus-X 300 adds eight metering or status inputs and eight relay outputs to any new or existing ARC Plus remote control system, providing a versatile, cost-effective expansion path.

Both of these products are shipping now, along with the ARC Plus SL slimline remote control, which Burk also introduced at NAB2009.
