Burk Technology wins Radio World “Cool Stuff” Award for AutoPilot® 2010 with Jet™ Active Flowcharts

Burk Technology’s new AutoPilot 2010 with Jet Active Flowcharts won a Radio World “Cool Stuff” Award at NAB 2010.

LAS VEGAS, NV (4/15/2010) – Burk Technology’s new AutoPilot 2010 with Jet Active Flowcharts won a Radio World “Cool Stuff” Award at NAB 2010. This is the seventh straight year that Burk has left NAB with a new product award.

AutoPilot 2010 allows broadcasters to manage ARC Plus, ARC-16, GSC3000 and VRC2500 remote controls from a single application. Based on the familiar Lynx 5 and AutoPilot Plus platforms, AutoPilot 2010 includes significant enhancements to Burk’s popular customizable screens and built-in SNMP network manager. Burk’s innovative approach to alarm management eliminates extraneous alerts and pinpoints root cause.

Burk Technology’s new Jet Active Flowchart engine unleashes the power of the remote control with an intuitive flowchart interface. Broadcasters can now draw simple diagrams to enable intelligent site control and respond to alarm conditions, time-based events and perform complex operations with a single button. Jet works with Burk’s full line of remote controls, and fully supports multi-site automatic control, including SNMP devices.

Available spring 2010, AutoPilot 2010 replaces Lynx 5, AutoPilot 3 and AutoPilot Plus. For more information, contact Steve Dinkel at (978) 486-0086.
