LAS VEGAS, NV (4/14/2011) – Burk Technology’s new server room environmental monitor, Climate Guard, won a Radio World “Cool Stuff” Award at NAB 2011. This is the eighth straight year that Burk has left NAB with a new product award.
Climate Guard monitors temperature, humidity and many other conditions that can cause serious IT disasters. Climate Guard includes built-in temperature, light and sound sensors, and is expandable to 64 sensors. Its built-in web interface and SNMP capabilities eliminate the need for dedicated computer software. The system notifies IT personnel of problems via email, SMS or SNMP traps to ensure a quick and effective resolution.
Climate Guard is scheduled to ship June 1, 2011. For more information, contact Steve Dinkel at (978) 486-0086.
