FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

Burk Technology Provides ARC-16 Upgrade Path with No Rewiring

Burk Technology announces the Plus-X Dual IP-8 Adapter, shipping December 1, 2011.

LITTLETON, MA (11/8/2011) – Burk Technology announces the Plus-X Dual IP-8 Adapter, shipping December 1, 2011.

Upgrading from the ARC-16 to the ARC Plus is now faster and more affordable than ever. Recognizing that rewiring is one of the largest costs and hassles of upgrading a legacy remote control system, Burk Technology developed the Plus-X Dual IP-8 Adapter. The IP-8 Adapter connects directly to existing ARC-16 IP-8 panels, linking them to a new or existing ARC Plus remote control over the LAN, WAN or Internet.

The Plus-X Dual IP-8 adapter also eliminates the need to purchase additional I/O capability – a substantial cost savings. Furthermore, a single ARC Plus can replace multiple ARC-16 systems, making larger upgrade projects substantially more cost effective.

ARC-16 users upgrading to the ARC Plus will benefit from the many advantages of Burk’s current generation system, including native IP connectivity, built-in web interface, onboard automatic functions, email alerts, and much more.

The Plus-X Dual IP-8 Adapter ships December 1, 2011, and will be available from Burk Technology’s network of broadcast dealers. For more information, contact Steve Dinkel at sales@burk.com or 800-255-8090.
