The ARC-16 was produced from the late 1980's until 2012. With this system, Burk pioneered multi-site remote control. Inevitably, technology advances, opening the door to new designs rich with improvements most asked for by broadcasters. The ARC Plus is now the flagship of the Burk Technology product line, offering unprecedented convenience and reliability for today’s broadcast operations.
Transitioning from the ARC-16 to the ARC Plus is easy using the Plus-X Dual IP-8 Adapter. Simply replace the ARC-16 with the Adapter and plug in the IP-8 panels. It takes less than an hour and is substantially less expensive too.
The ARC Plus is Burk's latest generation transmitter control system. The ARC Plus offers built-in IP control with web and smartphone access, built-in macros and virtual channels, and is expandable to up to 256 channels. Learn more about the ARC Plus.
AutoPilot 2010 software with Jet™ Active Flowcharts broadens the capabilities of the ARC-16 by managing time-based or event-driven automatic monitoring and control routines. Use AutoPilot 2010 to centrally manage an unlimited number of ARC-16, ARC Plus, GSC3000 and VRC2500 sites.
Upgrading legacy ARC-16 systems is faster and more affordable than ever. The Plus-X Dual IP-8 Adapter connects to up to two ARC-16 IP-8s using the same DB37 cables as the ARC-16. Not a single channel needs to be rewired to upgrade to the ARC Plus, saving hours of work. Upgrade from ARC-16 to ARC Plus with no rewiring.
The Plus-X AC-8 remote outlet controller makes it easy to manage power to 120V equipment at remote locations. Connect the Plus-X AC-8 to PCs, servers and other IT or broadcast equipment, and save wasted drive time when remote gear needs a power cycle.

Yes. The Plus-X Dual IP-8 Adapter makes it possible to upgrade your site in under an hour. Simply replace the ARC-16 with the Adapter and plug in the DB-37's from the IP-8 panels.Since you are using your existing interface, it is substantially less expensive, too.
Yes! The Plus-X AC-8 remote outlet controller fully integrates with the ARC Plus remote control, but can also be used as a stand-alone outlet controller using its built-in web connection. The Plus-X AC-8 accepts contact closures, so you can control each outlet with another remote control, such as the Burk ARC-16 or GSC3000/VRC2500.
