Transitioning from the ARC-16 to the ARC Plus is easy using the Plus-X Dual IP-8 Adapter. Simply replace the ARC-16 with the Adapter and plug in the IP-8 panels. It takes less than an hour and is substantially less expensive too.

Upgrading legacy ARC-16 systems is faster and more affordable than ever. The Plus-X Dual IP-8 Adapter connects to up to two ARC-16 IP-8s using the same DB37 cables as the ARC-16. Each channel is calibrated using the raise and lower keys to adjust the reading of the sample to the proper display value. The speed of the change in value is proportional, permitting ±1 digit adjustment or rapid gross changes.
Modem boards are installed for the class of service requested. A 2-wire modem is used for audio over a leased line or twisted pair. The Universal Modem provides independent path for send and receive, each configurable for audio, RS-232 or sub-carrier frequencies.

Yes! The Plus-X AC-8 remote outlet controller fully integrates with the ARC Plus remote control, but can also be used as a stand-alone outlet controller using its built-in web connection. The Plus-X AC-8 accepts contact closures, so you can control each outlet with another remote control, such as the Burk ARC-16 or GSC3000/VRC2500.
