Yes! You can install an ARC Plus Stand Alone unit which allows telephone connectivity to the remote control. The system is also accessible via a serial modem or using the Burk SL-1 serial LAN extender (IP over serial link).

Yes. The Plus-X Dual IP-8 Adapter makes it possible to upgrade your site in under an hour. Simply replace the ARC-16 with the Adapter and plug in the DB-37's from the IP-8 panels.Since you are using your existing interface, it is substantially less expensive, too.

Yes! The Plus-X AC-8 remote outlet controller fully integrates with the ARC Plus remote control, but can also be used as a stand-alone outlet controller using its built-in web connection. The Plus-X AC-8 accepts contact closures, so you can control each outlet with another remote control, such as the Burk ARC-16 or GSC3000/VRC2500.

The system is IP-based with optional telephone and modem connectivity. It has built-in macros to allow unattended operation without a dedicated computer. In addition to supporting up to 256 metering, status and command channels, there are 512 virtual channels for summary condition reporting and calculating indirect power, efficiency, temperature differentials, etc. We are constantly expanding the product line with more Plus-X devices for integrated I/O.

The ARC Plus and the ARC Plus SL are built on the same core platform, but the slimline SL version is available in a 1RU footprint where front panel access or onboard telephone connectivity not required. (The ARC Plus SL is fully compatible with all other ARC Plus systems, which allows a standard ARC Plus to provide telephone access to an ARC Plus SL). The ARC Plus SL also uses Plus-X Ethernet I/O modules exclusively. The standard ARC Plus is compatible with Plus-X modules and the IIU and ICRU I/O units.

The ARC Plus is built to run on your LAN/WAN, but if the network goes down, the system is still operable and accessible. The ARC Plus Stand Alone model comes with a built-in speech interface, allowing dial-up access and dial-out alarm reporting. The system also supports serial modem connectivity as a backup connection method. What’s more, the built-in macros mean automatic corrective actions continue even if site connectivity suffers an outage.

It’s never been easier to connect remote equipment. The ARC Plus supports metering and status inputs via the 16-channel Integrated Input Unit and relay outputs via the 8-channel Integrated Command Relay Unit. In addition, the Plus-X 300 allows Ethernet-based integration of 8 inputs (metering or status) and 8 relay outputs.

Select transmitters connect to the ARC Plus system using the PlusConnect™ series of direct interfaces—no external parallel wiring required.

And for control of 120V equipment at the remote site, the Plus-X AC-8 allows individual control of up to eight outlets.
