ARC Plus Touch and ARC Plus SL systems running version 5 firmware can now be upgraded with firmware version 5.0.17.3. Changes from firmware version 5.0.15.1 to 5.0.17.3 are highlighted below. Detailed descriptions of these changes can be found in the Release Notes document included in the firmware download package. This version of ARC Plus firmware requires use of AutoLoad Plus version 3.1.127 or higher and AutoPilot^®. version 4.1.45 or higher.

New Features and Enhancements

• Internal communications for the display module have been enhanced.
• Date and time can now be set from the front panel touch screen display.
• Channel banks definitions can now be retained after a firmware update.
  Important Note: Refer to the release notes document for the proper update procedure to retain your existing channel bank configuration.
• The Captures feature has been enhanced to ensure proper sample times.
• The SNMP agent now validates the assigned port.

• ARC Plus web page channel access privileges have been enhanced.

•  An error is now logged when the ARC Plus is unable to sync with a designated time server.
• The Captures feature now displays timestamps with 10 millisecond resolution.
• The SNMP Plus manager in the V5 ARC Plus now supports SNMP V2c.
• The V5 ARC Plus can now act as an SNMP agent.
• A new SNMP OID has been added providing the date and time of the most recent configuration change.
• Internal communications with the display and RSI modules have been enhanced.
• SNMP communications have been enhanced to include automatic network verification.

Resolved Issues

 Email templates are now properly read by AutoLoad Plus.

• The Captures feature now downloads properly using a modem connection.
• The Captures feature now saves the proper meter alarm limits.
• The SNMP meter alarm threshold OID description has been updated.
• The SNMP status alarm threshold OID description has been updated.

1. Visit www.burk.com/downloads
2. Download and install Burk Firmware Loader 1.0.10 or higher.
3. Download Manual – Burk Firmware Loader and follow the instructions for updating the ARC Plus firmware.
