ARC Plus Touch and ARC Plus SL systems running version 5 firmware can now be upgraded with firmware version 5.1.5.6. Changes from firmware version 5.1.1.1 to 5.1.5.6 are highlighted below. Detailed descriptions of these changes can be found in the Release Notes document included in the firmware download package. This version of ARC Plus firmware requires the use of AutoLoad Plus version 3.2.14.9 or higher and AutoPilot^®. version 4.4.7.37 or higher.

New Features and Enhancements

• Enhanced Warp Engine now polls up to 256 status channels per polling cycle.
• SNMP manager updated for improved performance.
• ARC Plus operating system optimized for overall system performance.
• Channel banks can now be used to select RSI status reports.
• Management of Lost Plus-X and Lost SNMP alarms has been enhanced.
• Support has been added for SNMP Float Opaque data types.
• ARC Plus UDP and TCP communications have been enhanced.
• The default data port now changes to 4095 when performing a hard reset.

Resolved Issues

• Status channels are no longer pixelated on ARC Plus Touch screen.
• Firmware updates are now fully loaded prior to system restart.
• Display now turns off after a 2-hour delay.

To install the new firmware:

1. Visit www.burk.com/downloads and select the support page for ARC Plus Touch or ARC Plus SL.
2. Download and install Burk Firmware Loader 1.1.5 or higher.
3. Download Manual – Burk Firmware Loader and follow the instructions for updating the ARC Plus firmware.
